Tampere tunnel

Tampere Tunnel is a 2.4-kilometer-long road tunnel located in the center of Tampere. It is the longest road tunnel in Finland and the first infrastructure construction project implemented using the alliance model.

Louhintahiekka carried out road construction in an urban environment, water supply construction, and massive waterway filling (a total of 910,000 m³)

For Highway 12, we built 1 kilometre of road structures outside the tunnel, 2 kilometres of intersecting city streets, and 2.5 kilometres of pedestrian and bicycle paths.
