Louhintahiekka has published its first Annual Report. The report summarises the key events, figures and projects of the record-breaking financial year that ended on 31 May 2026 and looks at what has driven our strong growth and how we are building on it towards our future goals.

The past financial year was the strongest in Louhintahiekka’s history. Our revenue more than doubled to EUR 181 million, our team grew to 155 professionals, and we carried out demanding infrastructure and concrete construction projects across Finland.

However, the Annual Report looks beyond the figures. We explain what has driven our strong growth: how we have developed our organisation and operations, strengthened our expertise and team, and progressed towards our strategic goals.

The report also includes reviews by CEO Aapo Lahtinen and Chair of the Board Esa Eloranta, as well as highlights from significant projects and events during the financial year.

Louhintahiekka to carry out the repair of Turku’s eastern riverside quay

Harbours and water works

The City of Turku has selected Louhintahiekka to carry out the repair of the eastern riverside quay along the Aura River. The project, valued at approximately €10.4 million, is moving into the construction phase following the completion of the development phase. The works are scheduled to be completed in August 2027.

Louhintahiekka selected as Polarnode’s main partner for the pre-construction of the Lappeenranta data center project

Cloud computing company Nebius is building a 310-megawatt data center campus in Lappeenranta. Once completed, it will be one of Europe’s largest data centers dedicated to artificial intelligence computing. In the pre-construction phase currently underway in the Pajarila area, Polarnode’s main partner is Louhintahiekka Oy.

Rock engineering and blasting

Kesko is building a logistics centre for grocery trade operations in the Ilvesvuori industrial area in Nurmijärvi. In the first phase, the area will include a central warehouse serving Kespro’s foodservice business. Louhintahiekka is responsible for the earthworks in the first phase of the project. The subcontract is scheduled for completion in March 2028.
